We need to write this page to clear up any confustion between this product and mosListMessenger. mosListMessenger was released in May 2006 for Mambo, and later ported to Joomla! when the fork happened. mosListMessenger and ListMessenger For Joomla 1.5 are totally different products, that share some of the same features. There is no upgrade path from one product to the other (apart from exporting subscribers to CSV and re-importing them into the new product. ListMessenger For Joomla 1.5.x does not work in Mambo or any Joomla 1.0.x installation ListMessenger For Joomla 1.5.x requires a minimum of PHP5.x ListMessenger For Joomla 1.5.x has a lot more features than mosListMessenger and is more integrated ListMessenger For Joomla 1.5.x has an active development team and new Joomla Specific features are planned and in progress ListMessenger For Joomla 1.5.x will be supported for at least the next 3 years. mosListMessenger will shortly be withdrawn from sale, is no longer activly developed and will only have security releases made in the future. mosListMessenger doesnt work on Joomla 1.5.x at all.
